Position: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $46-$48 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday (10–12-hour shifts)
The purpose of this position is to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance inspections on various types of industrial machinery and equipment. This position is for senior electrical and mechanical maintenance with a verifiable electrical license.
- Follow all safety regulations and basic rules and regulations per company policy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license.
- Is on call for emergencies and established an on-call sequence if necessary.
- Perform diagnostic procedures necessary to troubleshoot the more complex electrical and automation issues, seeking technical support from outside integrators/engineers when necessary.
- Attend morning pass down meeting to address any issue with shift supervisor from previous shift.
- Attend morning production meeting when necessary to discuss shift production, quality, and downtime.
- Manage and review work orders using Llumin work order system to schedule downtime with shift supervisors for work to be completed. Should be managed per ISO work order procedure and document control.
- Prioritize work orders and assign work to technicians assuring proper skill level meets the task.
- Supervise and follow-up on work being performed to ensure safety, quality of work and timeliness.
- Working with the Planner/Scheduler to develop an effective Preventative Maintenance Program/PDM.
- Use Root Cause Analysis to address repetitive failure modes to improve the Reliability Program.
- Review Vibration Analysis Reports, Thermos graphic Reports and schedule any predictive maintenance repairs necessary.
- Assist parts clerk in working with vendors, researching parts, submitting requisitions, reviewing requisitions to insure cost effectiveness and readiness of the parts inventory.
- Develop effective and progressive training program for in-house and outside training to maintain and improve the skill level of all technicians.
- Actively participate in weekly downtime meetings and working with downtime team to solve re-occurring downtime issues and to introduce innovative ideas in minimizing downtime while improving production and quality.
- Perform diagnostic procedures necessary to troubleshoot the more complex electrical and automation issues, seeking technical support from outside integrators/engineers when necessary.
- Conduct period and annual performance reviews with all electrical technicians.
- To initiate disciplinary action plan in the event of poor performance evaluations.
- Maintain and complete line calibrations, TSM calibrations, electrical test instrument calibrations and length counter calibrations in the calibration database.
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

| IV. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION. |
- Minimum education required: High school or GED, Basic Electronics-College, or Technical College. Industrial Electronics Technology-Technical College or Continuing Education.
- Minimum experience required: Five years’ experience in Industrial Automation Technology and Nonwoven / Fiber extrusion maintenance. At least one year’s experience at the specific facility.

1. Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, crouch, and kneel frequently (25% to 75%).
2. Must be able to crawl and climb occasionally (25% or less).
3. Must be able to stand and handle/manipulate equipment continuously (75% or more).
4. Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. occasionally (25% or less).
5. Must be able to carry 10-20 lbs. frequently (25% to 75%), and 20-50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. occasionally (25% or less).
6. Must be able to push under 10 lbs. frequently (25% to 75%), and 20-50 lbs. or over occasionally (25% or less).
7. Must be able to pull under 10 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. to over 50 lbs. occasionally (25% or less).
