Qualifications
Requirements Include:
- Perform the following functions:
- Design of electrical systems
- Manage and design multiple concurrent projects
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
- Lead design team efforts
- Manage project team for budget and schedule control
- Develop fee and qualification-based proposals
- Must be familiar with electrical/energy codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc.)
- Must have SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software experience.
- The focus of the experience must be in the power industry associated with electrical engineering and design of Industrial, higher education, healthcare, federal government and/or commercial projects.
- Experience with lighting design is desired, but not required.
- Experience with Telecom, A/V, Cybersecurity, and security designs is desired, but not required.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint software preferred.
- Conduct marketing/business development activities.
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
- Ability to travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)
- 10 to 15 years of experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management experience and/or certifications.
- Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams.
- Local AHJ experience and relationships is a plus.
- Active local industry involvement is a plus.
